Sonshine Choir
Brett joined a multi denominational choir, and we were able to watch him perform. He had a great time singing. (He had to borrow his choir robe - all members wore the robes from their churches.)

Last Swim
Here is Caleb and his teammates walking in for their last swim. They got their best time this season.
At the Pool
Once we finally got into the pool area (11:00ish), we were able to watch some warm-ups.
At 12:30 they did the parade of champions. Shortly after that, the meet started.

Brrrr
We left the house about 4:00 a.m. (21 degrees F). We drove to Marshalltown, and arrived about 6:30 (15 degrees). We sat out in the cold until about 9:00 a.m. (9 degrees). Then we sat in the gym until about 11:00 (7 degrees - outside). The falling temperatures were because of winds that made the wind chill 20 degrees colder than the actual temperatures. It was a fun day, just not a comfortable one.
At 11:00, we were let into the pool area.

Dedicated Friends
Here's a shout out to the HS friends who braved the cold to come watch the boys swim. This is a great group of young people.
Heading to State
There has been a tradition that the boys' parents give the boys a gift when they head off to the state swim meet. Here is the send off.

Snow Day
We got quite a bit of snow. Church was cancelled, and school is cancelled for tomorrow. We had some shoveling to do. The rest of my family dressed for the weather. Me, not so much!
Bountiful Baskets
We signed up with a friend to get a bountiful basket. We've made a couple of creations.
