Substitute

I am finally turning in all of my paperwork to get a substitute teaching license. I hope it goes through quickly.

Moving Again

The company that owns our home has made a business decision not to extend our rental contract, so we have to be out of our current place by October 14th.

Here is a preview of where we are going.

Lost It

Claire lost another tooth. It was just barely loose, and she decided she wanted it out by the end of the day. She wiggled it and wiggled it. At the end of the day she had loosened it enough that she was able to get it out. She wouldn't let anyone help her.

Poor thing though, the tooth fairy didn't come until about two weeks later.

Summer Fun

We made a trip to Omaha to go to the temple with the youth. Brett and I did a session early, and then I watched children at Amber's house while their parents helped with the youth. Amber had boxes, we turned on water/sprinklers, and the children entertained themselves for a couple of hours. It was great fun.

Road Trip

I was able to go to Iowa City to transport missionaries. We left early, and the missionaries had meetings. I ventured out to find so historic sites that I had heard about. I found a Mormon Handcart Park. I walked the little trail and thought about the pioneers. It was 90 degrees out, and I was reminded of the struggles the pioneers went through in their efforts to keep the faith.

Healthy Eating

Brett and I have been trying to eat a little healthier. If he isn't home from work when dinner is ready, I will take a picture and send it to him.
