Party On!

Caleb participated in the swim team's hair bleaching. At the end of the swim season their hair is pretty dead from too many hours in the pool. For their district swim meet they bleach their hair. The boys who make it to state end up shaving their heads.

Eli's a Blonde

The boys on the swim team bleach their hair at the end of the season. They have a lot of fun. It really throws me to see my boys bleached.

Saturday Fun

We were able to watch the boys swim yesterday. They did well.

Early Start

We had a very early start to our day. The girls had a swim meet today, and Claire had to be there at 7:15. We left the house at 6:00 a.m. The colors in the sky were beautiful as I was driving.

My Rings

I have a permanent ring around my finger. I took the 4 3/4 sized rings off of my size 7 finger. I haven't done that in years (+ I cannot get them back on).

White Out

There was a late start for school, and then an early release. The late start was due to cold temperatures. The early release may have had something to do with the white out/blizzard conditions.

Sun Dogs

The cold temperatures today brought some incredible celestial sights. These sun dogs were beautiful.

Snow!

We had an early release yesterday and a late start today due to this storm that came through. It is cold out there. Our high for tomorrow is supposed to be -6.

Job Interview

I had an interview for a 4th grade teaching position. There was a 5th grade math position open, and I applied for that. They filled it internally, but that opened a 4th grade position. I got a call asking if I would be interested in the 4th grade position, and we set up an interview.

My Favorite Chair

This is my favorite chair in the house. It reclines and is super comfortable.
